Ney Coto Pinzón, nos invita a un viaje introspectivo a través de sus obras que cursan una trayectoria de más de 30 años, con una paleta nutrida del Impresionismo Alemán y el Postimpresionismo para explorar las profundidades del ser humano y su conexión con lo trascendental, lo místico, lo oculto. Estas piezas sirven de ventana a lo interno de un hombre lleno de misterio, que se encuentra en una constante búsqueda de la verdad absoluta. Plasma este sentimiento en cada pincelada, utilizando al ser humano, como herramienta clave para su experimentación. Coto Pinzón se sumerge en temas complejos y multifacéticos: la humanidad en su esencia, la Cábala con su simbolismo esotérico, el misticismo como vía de conocimiento, el ocultismo como exploración de lo desconocido y la sociedad como reflejo de las tensiones entre lo terrenal y lo espiritual. No todo es grandioso, ni bello, ni perfecto. Coto Pinzón utiliza sus piezas como ensayos, descargos, argumentos y confesiones, piezas cargadas de emociones intensas, que revelan pequeños fragmentos de lo que fue una vida entera dedicada al arte y la búsqueda de su significado. Influenciado por el Impresionismo Alemán, Coto Pinzón utiliza el color y la luz de manera expresiva, buscando capturar no solo la apariencia externa de las cosas, sino también la atmósfera emocional que las rodea. Esta influencia se manifiesta en pinceladas vibrantes y una paleta cromática intensa, que a menudo se balancea sobre el fino hilo de inquietud y serenidad. Esta exposición nos invita a reflexionar nuestra perspectiva de lo correcto, con piezas como Abrazo Cósmico y su temática de la repetición y mundanidad, Bipolaridad, que habla sobre un momento en la vida en el cual la mente se convierte en el maestro, más no el sirviente. No todo es oscuro, hay piezas que como "Ternura" que tiene como objeto de estudio, la suavidad de una mirada o el calor de una sonrisa. Ney Coto Pinzón invites us on an introspective journey through his works spanning a trajectory of more than 30 years, with a palette nourished by German Impressionism and Post-Impressionism to explore the depths of the human being and his connection with the transcendental, the mystical, the occult. These pieces serve as a window into the inner world of a man full of mystery, who is on a constant search for absolute truth. He expresses this feeling in every brushstroke, using the human being as a key tool for his experimentation. Coto Pinzón delves into complex and multifaceted themes: humanity in its essence, the Kabbalah with its esoteric symbolism, mysticism as a path to knowledge, occultism as an exploration of the unknown, and society as a reflection of the tensions between the earthly and the spiritual. Not everything is grand, nor beautiful, nor perfect. Coto Pinzón uses his pieces as essays, outpourings, arguments, and confessions, pieces charged with intense emotions, that reveal small fragments of what was an entire life dedicated to art and the search for its meaning. Influenced by German Impressionism, Coto Pinzón uses color and light expressively, seeking to capture not only the external appearance of things, but also the emotional atmosphere that surrounds them. This influence manifests itself in vibrant brushstrokes and an intense chromatic palette, which often balances on the fine thread of restlessness and serenity. This exhibition invites us to reflect on our perspective of what is correct, with pieces such as "Cosmic Embrace" and its theme of repetition and mundanity, "Bipolarity," which speaks of a moment in life in which the mind becomes the master, but not the servant. Not everything is dark; there are pieces like "Tenderness" whose object of study is the softness of a gaze or the warmth of a smile. There is nothing more to ask than that you meditate on the pieces you are about to observe and that you find a space for them in your memory and carry them with you; in this way, Ney will no longer live as the promise of mastery, but as the artist who always captured in his paintings: a seeker, a connoisseur, and a teacher.
